CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - "It's really nice to see the smiles on their faces, to come out here and just play for them and do what we love doing most," said NCHS graduate and drumline member, Gabe Degraeve.
NCHS' drumline performs for residents at Mountain Plaza Assisted Living on Wednesday afternoon.
Around a dozen members of the drumline performed for the residents. As they practiced before the performance, you could see residents looking through the windows to see what the noise was.
As they came outside, many were surprised. As the drumline got going, you could tell they were enjoying it.
"These residents are just so wonderful. So the fact that we had these kids who are willing to, during their summer break, come play for our residents, it's just so special," said Mountain Plaza Assisted Living Marketing Director, Stephanie Allen.
Allen said music is something all the residents can enjoy and relate to.
