A Wyoming woman missing since November 25 has been found dead in California.
22-year-old Erin Henry is from Sheridan and was attending Humboldt State University in Arcata, Ca.
She was last seen by her roommate 2 days after Thanksgiving, however she reported Henry left her wallet, cell phone and car behind at their residence. At the time, Henry had a broken ankle and was believed to still be in need of crutches or a knee scooter.
On Friday (December 8) morning, a local maintenance worker with the California Department of Transportation informed local police that he had located a knee scooter along a highway.
Officers with Arcata Police responded to the location and conducted a search of the area. During the search, Erin Henry was discovered deceased a short distance east of the highway.
With the assistance of the Humboldt County Sheriff/Coroner, Ms. Henry’s body was recovered.
The preliminary investigation revealed no sign of foul play.
