Mayor's Council for People With Disabilities looking for new members

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (KGWN) - City of Cheyenne Mayor Marian Orr is seeking applications for membership on the Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities (MCPD) Board. There are currently three positions available on the board. Appointees will be given priority consideration to fill a subsequent term.

The MCPD is an appointed body of the City and is an educational and solution-oriented advisory board serving as a catalyst for promoting self-advocacy, equality, accessibility, and opportunity for all people regardless of their disability.

Applications for the open position are available at (click on “Boards and Commissions” located under the “Your Government” tab).

Applications are also available at the Municipal Building (2101 O’Neil Avenue, room 310). All applications must be submitted directly to the Mayor’s office – either in hard copy or via email -- no later than 5pm MT on Friday, January 18, 2019.
