CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- After a brief closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mary's Mountain Cookies opened its doors again. It closed in the middle of March to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. This time, they pushed their counter at the door to help with social distancing. People have the chance to order individually wrapped cookies at the counter or you can place an order ahead of time. Mary’s Mountain Cookies also took this as an opportunity to add new flavors.
"We want to be able to accommodate our community the best that we can,” assistant manager Tesla Ray said. “We really care about them [community], we know that cookies bring joy to people. We wanted to be open to just bring a little light in the darkness that we're having to deal with right now."
