Magpul to host drive-in job fairs in Cheyenne
Magpul is looking to hire about 150 new employees in Cheyenne.
The gun manufacturer has partnered with ResourceMFG to host drive-in job fairs. The first one is July 7 and will be each Tuesday and Wednesday for three weeks at the Cheyenne Workforce Center.
“We’re set up to be able to have folks drive up in their cars, give them some pre-qualifying questions for the job, they can actually apply online and fill out their application prior to that. We’ll even have some stations set up in the event that they didn’t have access to a computer so they can do that there as well,” ResourceMFG Regional Vice President Richard Gaeta said.
He said recruiters will be practicing social distancing but most applicants will stay in their cars.
The average wage for the jobs will be around $16 per hour.
