Love is in the air
Cheyenne-- From Doggy Dates to running in your undies, struck by cupid. Residents are feeling the love within the community.
The Annual Cupid Undie Run got underway Saturday afternoon. The cold Wyoming weather lightened up today, allowing runners to parade the streets near the depot of Cheyenne.
Across the country folks are taking part in the Cupid Undie Run. The initiative is inspired to find a cure to Neurofibromatosis.
Instead of having to go to Denver to join the fun residents stayed in Cheyenne for the run.
"It's cool to having bring all of these charities and events to Cheyenne, instead of having to drive down to Denver," Local Resident Adam Clark Said.
The main objective for this party and run is to generate money for research that can impact the lives of those, who have the genetic disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 children born.
"It's always nice to have events that are local that we can participate really easily, and i think that shows we are a community, and we want to do what's best for our community members and those that need a little extra help," Local Resident April Brown said.
Cupid Undie Run will continue tomorrow in different cities, as the fight runs strong against Neurofibromatosis.
