The Ugly Bug Fly Shop and Crazy Rainbow Fishing has a couple girls on staff and is encouraging more women to get out on the water and learn to fly fish, which is a special moment for everyone.
"It's not like anything else you've probably ever experienced before, and the handling of the fish, and just seeing that accomplishment, and all the work, and teaching, and being able to apply that on the water, and to carefully handle fish, and put them back in the water, let them go and live another day," said Ugly Bug Fly Shop Manager, Addie Dees.
"Ugly Bugs and Crazy Ladies" is a three part event where women will learn how to tie, cast and have a full day out on the water.
The girls at the shop say you'd be surprised at the amount of women in our community who want to get involved in fly fishing, but don't know where to start. They enjoy seeing the excitement fly fishing brings people and are hoping local women can find a lifelong sport.
"It's so cool to be part of because you really get to experience someone else loving something that you love so much as well and I don't think it can ever be beat. It's the best adrenaline rush of all time," said Ugly Bug Fly Shop, shop hand, CiCi Oliver.
The Ugly Bug Fly Shop is located in downtown Casper and for more information on how to get involved with "Ugly Bugs and Crazy Ladies," you can give them a call at (307) 234-6905.
