Laramie County reports 13 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

As of Wednesday, April 1, 2020 the Wyoming Department of Health website reports 35 positive COVID-19 cases in Laramie County and a 13 case increase in the past 24 hours.

However, the Laramie County COVID HUB website, put together by county officials, shows there are currently 37 cases in Laramie County. The site says it was updated at 5:15 pm today.

25 cases from Laramie County are still pending at the Wyoming State Public Health Laboratory.

The State of Wyoming currently has a total of 137 individuals who have tested positive, according to the Wyoming Department of Health website. 31 individuals are considered recovered from COVID-19 and there are no Wyoming resident deaths associated with the virus.

Due to the community transmission CDC continues to recommend social distancing, covering sneezes and coughs, frequent handwashing and staying home when sick.
