A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup for speeding near milepost 82 on Interstate 25 on Sunday. The trooper found out the person in the truck had a suspended license and a non-extraditable warrant for his arrest in Colorado.

When approaching the driver to speak with him, the trooper noticed the driver had locked his doors. Within a few minutes, the driver fled. The trooper chased the driver who was going almost 100 miles per hour.

The driver pulled off on Fish Creek Road in Platte County. The driver then pulled out into a field, which led to the WHP trooper losing sight of him. Platte County Deputies helped in locating the vehicle which was stuck in the mud.

The driver was then taken into custody and has been identified as 47-year-old Ian J. Hadaway. Hadaway has been charged with reckless driving, freeing to elude and other traffic-related offenses according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
