CHEYENNE, Wyo. --
Governor Mark Gordon addressed the Wyoming House of Representatives and Senate this morning in a joint session that began at 10am on January 9th, 2019.
The Joint Session was held in the temporary House Chambers at the Jonah Business Center. It was called to order by Speaker of the House Steve Harshman and President of the Senate Drew Perkins.
Senate President, Drew Perkins, introduced Gordon to the stage where he talked about in his State of the State address he talked about the importance of creating efficient and sustainable solutions for different issues in the state. He also made mention of how to better define the rainy day fund.
He also addressed the need to make schools safer throughout the state.
Following Governor Gordon's State of the State, Chief Justice of the Wyoming Supreme Court, Michael K. Davis, gave his State of the Judiciary address.
