There’s a season between winter and spring that is anticipated as much—or more—as Daylight Savings Time and warmer temperatures. That bright spot ahead is Girl Scout Cookie season!

On Friday, February 7th, area Girl Scouts across Montana and Wyoming will begin taking pre-orders for favorites including Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Girl Scout S’mores™ and the gluten free variety, Toffee-tastics. Additionally, Girl Scouts is introducing a new variety called Lemon-Ups; a crispy lemon cookie baked with messages inspired by Girl Scout Entrepreneurs.

This staple of Americana is available several ways over the coming weeks and months:

• Girl Scouts will take pre-orders February 7 - February 23, with delivery in late March

• Cookies can be ordered online from a Girl Scout February 7 – April 19

• Cookies can be purchased during Booth Sales March 27 – April 19; during that time you can use the booth-locator at girlscoutcookies.org

The price of Girl Scout Cookies in Montana and Wyoming remains $4.00 per box with the exception of the specialty varieties (Girl Scout S’mores and gluten free Toffee-tastics) which are $5.00 per box.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program® teaches girls about entrepreneurship as they have fun learning essential skills like money management, public speaking, and decision making—things that set them up for a lifetime of success.

The net proceeds from Girl Scout Cookie sales stay local with the girls’ council and troop. Councils use cookie earnings to power amazing experiences for girls through programming, while girls and their troops decide how to invest in impactful community projects, personal enrichment opportunities, and more.
