Nearly 20 bronze statues are taking over the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens.

Staff at the botanic gardens unloaded the new exhibit that will be on display in the grand conservatory.

The 'gardens gone wild' exhibit represent a full spectrum of wildlife and familiar barnyard animals...

The artist behind the work is Cheyenne native, Dan Ostermiller.

His pieces have been honored around the US, some in major museums.

Ostermiller says he enjoys the process of creating art and having it displayed.

"All of it's my favorite," Ostermiller said. I mean, just the people you meet, you know being able to speak with the people through my art."

All pieces are for sale with smaller pieces available for purchase at the tilted tulip gift shop, inside the botanic gardens.
