Fair Pay, Fair Play

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) We've all have had a family member or a friend that has filed a workers compensation claim.

Many may wonder, how to approach the different situations that happen on the job?

The "Fair pay, Fair Play" luncheon held by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services.

The State agency turned it's focuses on how it could better serve the people of Wyoming.

The Wyoming Workforce Services HR manager says the luncheon is intended to bridge the gap between the community and the State agency.

"Wage and hour topics, fair employment, knowing your rights at work, knowing how we approach different workplace situations," Department of Workforce Services HR Manager Cherie Doak said.

Each month the Department of Workforce Services says it will hold a luncheon discussing reporting an injury in the workplace, disability benefits and other related subjects.

These future luncheon meetings are open to public.
