CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- A Delta flight had an emergency landing at the Cheyenne Regional Airport. The flight was coming from Salt Lake City, UT and expected to land in Detroit, MI. According to a call that the airport director, Tim Barth received from the staff, the flight was 35,000 feet in the air when the flight had ab indicator about rising temperatures in the cargo hold.

According to the protocol, the flight crew released the fire suppression system in the aircraft, landing the plane. Nearly 200 passengers were on the flight, in which they were transferred to the Cheyenne Regional Airport terminal. There were no reported injuries.
