Cowgirls fall to Colorado, 66-56

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Wyoming's women's basketball team fell to Colorado, 66-56. The Cowgirls trailed by as much as 11 points in the fourth quarter before cutting the lead to five. However, Colorado was able to hold off Wyoming, extending the lead to 10 points for the win.

For the Cowgirls, senior forward, Taylor Rusk, led Wyoming in scoring with 14 points (6-11 FG), six rebounds, and two steals. Sophomore, Tereza Vitulova, added 11 points with five rebounds.

Wyoming falls to 2-2 on the season. They'll head on the road and return to action on Saturday, November 23, against South Dakota State. Tip-off is at 6:00pm MST.
