Construction report for Nov. 4 UW game

Laramie, Wyo. - Fans traveling to the University of Wyoming “Border War” football game against the Colorado State University Rams this Saturday, Nov. 4, should expect the following activities and/or construction projects:

In the City of Laramie:
- 3rd Street is reduced to one lane in each direction between Flint Street (near the Safeway Plaza) and Baker Street. Harney Street is also closed between 3rd and 4th Streets. The work is related to the Harney Street Bridge project.
- The 15th Street Bridge over Interstate 80 remains open to one-way alternating traffic as repairs are underway.
- As of Thursday, Nov. 2, a chance of rain showers is possible in Laramie Saturday evening, and then a chance of rain and snow showers is possible after midnight. Check for the latest weather information.

Between Cheyenne and Laramie:
- The eastbound driving lane of the I-80 bridge over Walterscheid Boulevard in Cheyenne (near the Central Avenue exit) remains closed due to a collision Sept. 8.
- No other lane closures.

Between Casper and Laramie:
- No construction activities.

Between Rawlins/Carbon County and Laramie:
- No construction activities.
- The Fort Steele Rest Area will remain closed over the weekend as repairs are being made to the facility’s turbidity monitors.
- WYO 130 over the Snowy Range remains open. **A chance of snow is possible Saturday.**
- WYO 70 over the Sierra Madre remains open. **A chance of snow is possible Saturday.**

Between Fort Collins and Laramie:
- No construction activities.

In addition, a bi-state effort between Wyoming and Colorado law enforcement agencies will be enforcing drinking and driving laws in Albany and Laramie counties, Wyoming, and Larimer County, Colorado.

As with all events, drivers should use caution during higher periods of traffic. If you drink, always designate a sober driver. Go Cowboys!
