CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- In response to the mass shootings in the country, president of the United Christian Ministers Alliance of Cheyenne, Dr. Hilton McClendon, Sr. is pairing with churches in Wyoming to have a prayer session. This event will be open to the public. McClendon decided to have this event because he believes mass shootings affect people nationwide.

"It's not only affecting people mentally in their location of Texas and Ohio, but it's also affecting people in this Wyoming area," McClendon said.

The event is at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 11, at 3:00pm.
