Cheyenne police host block parties across town

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Cheyenne police are hosting a block party in multiple neighborhoods across town tomorrow.

The parties give residents a chance to catch up with local officers who work in their neighborhoods, get to know them and ask about concerns in the area.

According to a release from Cheyenne Police,

"The Cheyenne police department's 10th annual neighborhood night out is coming up on July 9! Find your neighborhood party using this map. If you weren't invited to a party, you've still got friends, come on down to the depot plaza for a neighborhood party for the whole city.

These parties are all organized by individual neighborhoods, if you don't see your neighborhood on the map, it's time for you to step up next year and help to organize a party in your neighborhood!"
