The Cheyenne YMCA has made adaptions to their Adaptive Sports Program for Disabled Veterans. Some classes are now being offered on zoom. Tai Chi is offered on Monday and Wednesday at 2:00pm. Adaptive High Intensity Interval Training is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00pm.

"If you can attend a class from home and you don't have to drive 15 minutes to get to and from where your going and you don't have to spend the time checking in and doing all of that, if you can just be there get it done and back to life as normal to me that's a huge benefit" said Program Director, Chandra Watson.

The YMCA will start offering the disabled veteran classes in person again on June 1st but people can still do everything on zoom if they want. "We can take someone whether your wheelchair bound or do obstacle course races, whatever it is we can take wherever your at and build from there and it makes it a lot of fun" said Watson.

The links to the classes can be found at cheyenneymca.org.
