Cheyenne Police Department has made several arrests following a weekend human trafficking operation.

It happened Friday night in an undisclosed location. Cheyenne police say the operation led to seven total arrests.

Two were women who police say were possible victims of human trafficking and prostitution. Five were men who were allegedly paying for sex, or willing to pay.

Among those CPD arrested were Christina Foster (Prostitution, Possession of Marijuana; William Salisbury (Solicitation for Lewd/Immoral); Shawn Arnold Kersenbrock (Solicitation for Lewd/Immoral); David Allen Loghry (Solicitation for Lewd/Immoral); Jacob Paul Ojeda (Solicitation for Lewd/Immoral); James Patrick Cox (Solicitation for Lewd/Immoral).

The Cheyenne Police Department says people are often put into this situation which is why they try to intervene and stop that cycle.
