CHEYNNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- The Cheyenne Mustangs held a summer youth clinic at Powers Field. Around 50 kids came out to particpate. Head Coach Sheldon Baxter says "we do it once a summer its good for us to get out there give back to the community help the kids get a little better,its just that we have alot of fun and were always about building them up were never gonna tear anybody down were always building people up trying to get them better get them to the next level."
The players on the team enjoy teaching the youth all about Mustangs baseball. Chance Miller says"were just teaching them the fundamentals and how we learn it opposed to how they learn it in city league so they get more set skills."
The Mustangs will be back in action this Thursday, July 18th at the Colorado state tournament in Greeley.
