Every year the Cheyenne Mayor's Youth Council picks a project to educate their fellow classmates. This year with the pandemic, they decided to launch an initiative called Take Two. They are challenging youth from around the state to submit a two minute video of how they have been socially distancing and talk about how COVID-19 has impacted them.

The initiative will start Thursday, May 14th and Mayor Marian Orr will be collecting the videos over the next two weeks. The ten winners will get to go to the University of Wyoming's first home football game and get to go on the field. The top ten winners will also get to have pizza with the Governor.

"What I would like to do with that further is not just take those ten videos but take those videos from hopefully hundreds of teens from around the state and essentially create a documentary as far as what Wyoming teens have experienced" said Mayor Marian Orr.

Mayor Orr thinks this is a great way for the youth of Wyoming to connect with each other during this hard time. She wants them to know they are not alone.
