The Tuesday Market sponsored the first Cheyenne Market of the year. It was a local growers market where the vendors sold items that they made, grew, and raised. Even with the challenge of wet weather, vendors expressed methods of protecting their products, allowing them to grow.
"It's definitely a challenge," President of Tuesday Market, Rusty Brinkman said. "I've got some high tunnels that we grow a lot of things in to protect from most of the hail and rain."
One of the main aspects vendors enjoy the most is building a connection with the customers.
"It's really great to have a personal connection from the grower to the consumer," Vendor, Jill Klawonn said.
The market will occur every Tuesday from June 18-October 8, from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
