“Cheyenne Days Legendary Nights” runs from July 17-26. It comprises events throughout Laramie County creating community excitement despite the cancellation of Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) this year.

“‘Cheyenne Days Legendary Nights’ was just a way for us to brand all of the various events that were going on in the community during those 10 days. Basically, when Cheyenne Frontier Days canceled, a whole bunch of people started to plan events and do things and we figured maybe it’s just a little bit easier if we branded under some type of branding,” Visit Cheyenne President and CEO Domenic Bravo said.

Events include rodeo, concerts, antique shows, an air show and more.

Bravo said ‘Cheyenne Days Legendary Nights’ shows the community’s resilience despite COVID-19 forcing organizers to cancel CFD.

“It’s so many local businesses and local entities coming together to figure out a way to still thrive during an economic downturn and during this pandemic. What was very heartening, I think, as a community we do what we always do and we live legendary and we do what has to be done,” he said.

He said events will be at venues throughout Laramie County so people can have a good time without crowds getting too big.
