CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Casper City Streets staff are still pushing to fill the city’s potholes.
Casper Streets and Traffic Manager Shad Rodgers said though they’ve made slight adjustments to crew sizes due to COVID-19, staff are still taking requests and trying to fill as many as possible.
This year’s budget has already been set and is not affected by recent economic issues.
However, because the virus is keeping some cars off the road, it has made it easier for crews to fill the holes.
“With schools being closed and not a lot of traffic going around, in some of the problems areas we’re having an easier time going in and doing the maintenance that needs to be done,” Rodgers said.
People can fill out work order forms on the city’s website or app alerting staff to a pothole’s location.
Rodgers said it should take crews a day or two following a request to fill the pothole.
