CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The Martinizing Dry Cleaning Casper franchise is offering free uniform cleanings for first responders and health care workers.

It’s doing it to help in the fight against COVID-19.

“Dry cleaning is an essential service. We all need to have clean clothes when we go to work. I know that that community is overburdened right now,” Casper Martinizing franchise owner Edis Allen said. “They’re being asked to work long hours, much more than they normally do. And we don’t want them taking those clothes home and cleaning them there or leaving them on the floor in their bathroom or laundry area.”

He said dry cleaning clothes sanitizes them better. The process uses high operating temperatures and the clothes are finished with live steam.

“There’s just plenty of redundant opportunity to kill virus,” Allen said.

He said first responders and health care workers looking to get their uniforms dry cleaned should call ahead and let Martinizing staff pick them up so they can control how potential germs enter the facility.

Allen’s franchise includes both Martinizing store locations in Casper.
