Casper Police arrest multiple suspects in stolen guns and illegal drug case

CASPER, Wyo. (RELEASE) - Through diligent investigation, Casper Police have made multiple related arrests in connection to stolen guns and illegal drugs.

The investigation began when officers responded to a call of a motorist assist and found multiple stolen guns and felony amounts of illegal drugs on October 1st, 2019.

Austin Taylor, age 20 of Montana, was arrested on one misdemeanor charge of stolen property; two misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; one misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, hydrocodone; one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, hydrocodone; one misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, morphine; one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, morphine; one misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, alprazolam; one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, alprazolam; and one misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Justen Kushner, age 19 of Montana, was arrested on one misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; one felony charge of a controlled substance, cocaine; and one felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, cocaine.

Two Casper juveniles were also arrested in relation to this case. One juvenile was charged with aggravated burglary and the other was charged with one felony charge of wrongful taking or disposal of property, one felony charge of aggravated burglary, and one felony charge of aggravated auto burglary.
