CASPER, Wyo. If you have any unused or expired medication, you're invited to participate in the free drug take-back event today at Casper College.

Returning medicine to a take-back program is a safe environmentally friendly way to dispose of the drugs.

This is the first time the pharmacy technology program has hosted the drug take-back event.

Students will partner with the Casper-Natrona County Health Department and the Casper Police Department.

"Our students love to be part of this event. In the past, we've partnered with the Casper Natrona County Health Department and the police department as well as Wyoming medical center but this year they're kind of in charge and they're really excited about that." Said Amy Raymond.

Barring weather concerns the disposal will be held in lee-singer Hall room 103 from 10:00 until two.

If you re in a hurry curbside service will be available in the Leesinger Hall parking lot as well.
