CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) There were many topics on the agenda Tuesday for the Casper City Council, but one really stood out. The reconsideration for the sale of the Plains Furniture property was passed.

Councilman Shawn Johnson, Councilman Steve Cathey and Councilwoman Khrystyn Lutz all changed their votes to support the sale.

Councilman Kenneth Bates was the only member who opposed. Bates believes there are a lot of question marks surrounding the sale and the potential it could have.

Many people in the Casper community showed up to the meeting. Although some opposed, the majority of those in attendance supported the sale of the Plains Furniture property.

The Casper City Council meets for a work session next week and the next City Council meeting is November 19th.
