CRMC to host medical-surgical nursing conference Thursday, October 24th

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (WYOMING NEWS NOW) -- Cheyenne Regional Medical Center will be hosting a Medical-Surgical Nursing Conference – “Innovations in Medical & Surgical Nursing" on Thursday, October 24th. This conference has been approved for 6.7 nursing contact hours (education credit).

It will be held on Thursday, October 24, at the LCCC Pathfinder Building. Registration starts at 7:30 am, and the conference begins at 8:00am.

This event will focus on nursing strategies for preventing stress and burnout, what nurses can do to help improve outcomes for facing the opioid crisis and new updates in cardiac care with leadless pacemaker care and home hemodynamic monitoring. We will also have a discussion about homeland security and what it means to nurses. Finally we will have a panel of speakers discussing the legal risks in nursing.

The cost to attend is $75.00 Whether you are a nurse in a hospital, nursing home, home health or outpatient setting, this conference has something for you.
