The blood drive will also pay tribute to the hundreds of community members that donated blood a year ago for Officer Jacob Carlson after he was injured on May 6th, 2018 in the line of duty.

The drive will take place at Vitalant, formally known as United Blood Services located at 2801 East Second Street in Casper.
The drive is being held from May 13th to 18th; Monday through Wednesday from 8:30am to 6:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

The event is open to the entire community.

Casper City Manager, Carter Napier has granted City Employees an approved absence to participate in the blood drive during work hours. City employees are asked to coordinate with their direct supervisor.

Blood drive participants will receive a #ISUPPORTCPD ribbon. CPD encourages those who receive a ribbon to wear it in support of National Police Week and to upload a photo to social media using the hashtag #ISUPPORTCPD.
