CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) According to the greater Cheyenne chamber of commerce...the economy in Cheyenne thrives from locally owned business.

To kick off Business week, the Chamber is hosting a business expo during the Annual Business week with the D-A-P-C-P-A Consulting Firm.

"For a new business that's out there, it really is a way to become better known in the community," Professional accountant, David Pope said.

The consulting firm believes the expo provides a great venue for Cheyenne businesses to showcase themselves. Word of mouth and networking will be the theme for thriving ideas.

One new business to Cheyenne, Memorial Monuments tends to agree.

"Great opportunity to be able to interact, with the people here, let them know what we can do them, hopefully be able to serve them," Memorial Monument's Shop Manager Jared Tolman said.

Another small business owner says getting involved as a community allows the city to grow and flourish.

"I think Cheyenne is on a good path, the downtown has been a big deal and hopefully that continues," Professional Accountant Jonath Jackson states.

The DAPCPA also says that our local shops are the economic bloodline to the city.

Tomorrow's festivities takes place at Little America, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The interactive booths, prizes, giveaways are free to the public.
