Boys and Girls club plan to have summer sports leagues

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) Due to COVID-19 the Boys and Girls club of Central Wyoming closed on

"We really just want to thank the community for their understanding and patience during this troubling time," said VP of Operations Derek DeBoer. "Trust assured when we reopen we will be there to serve your kids with all the safety and confidence that they have had with us in the past."

During this time all club activities and sports leagues are canceled as well. In regards to their summer sports leagues, they still plan to continue those. The summer sports leagues they offer are t-ball, coach pitch as well as a basketball league. They also offer a summer camp.

"We are planning to hold a volleyball league which will start up in April and go through May and then we are just gearing up getting ready for finishing up a strong spring and getting ready for the summer programs and activities," said DeBoer

Registration for these activities have currently been put on pause, but will start again once those clubs reopen.
