Boys & Girls Clubs to name Wyoming Youth of the Year

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wyoming will name the Wyoming Youth of the Year this Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Little America Hotel at 7 a.m.
One member will be chosen for exemplifying outstanding efforts as a club and a community member. The winner will receive a full tuition and fees scholarship to the University of Wyoming.
The three teen finalists from throughout the Cowboy state are Michael Martinez-Montano from the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne, Mickayla Maes from the Boys & Girls Club of Sweetwater County, and Kayla Messmer from the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming.
The winner will go on to compete in the Boys & Girls Clubs Southwest Region consisting of eight states and that winner will move on to compete for the opportunity to become National Youth of the Year.
