Boys & Girls Club Celebrates 5 Years in its West Jefferson Building
The Boys & Girls Club held an open house Thursday evening to celebrate its 5 years in the West Jefferson Building.
Club officials were very grateful for all the support and appreciated all the donations they have received in order to make a positive impact in the kids lives.
Chief Professional Officer Rolinda Sample, reflected on how the club couldn't have been able to get to where they are without the help of donors and community support.
Sample says, “It was an amazing effort and a lot of support from the community. Five years ago, our goal was to move into our facility and not have any debt and we were able to do that."
The open house included a tour of the facility, refreshments and a member art display which featured all the member's artwork from collages, to paintings and portraits. Furthermore, there was an award announcement to recognize the kids' achievements.
The Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne is striving to continue the good fight of making a positive impact in the kids of Cheyenne's lives. With the continued support of the community, they are excited for what the future holds.
