Annual emergency exercise at airport helps prepare first-responders

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -- The Cheyenne Regional Airport held its annual tabletop emergency exercise on October 16, 2019. Even though the exercise is only required once a year, Aiport Director, Tim Barth, said the agencies work together throughout the year to be better prepared for emergencies. "It's been a long time since there's been a major accident here, but we just want to make sure that we're prepared in the event of one," Barth said.

There were fifteen different agencies involved in this exercise. Since the terminal is less than a year old, it was the first exercise that involved the new building.
