Joseph Meza changed his plea to guilty of one count of first-degree sexual abuse of a young girl. This happened after the defense had declared yesterday, that Meza was innocent. Before this, the victim took to the stand to share her side of the story. Some in attendance say she was very "believable."
Originally, Meza pleaded not guilty to eight counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
With today's changes, the other seven counts are dismissed. Meza could serve anywhere from 20-40 years. For now, he is out on bond.
