Jamie Bridenstine is a producer for Wyoming News Now.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia as a Navy brat, it's difficult to say where exactly Jamie grew up. But she moved out west to Cheyenne when she was 9 and has called it home ever since.
She graduated from East High School in Cheyenne. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in Communication.
While in college, Jamie served as the Public Affairs Officer in the Army ROTC Cowboy Battalion (Let 'er Buck), and exercised her talent for photojournalism and videography. Jamie was also the Social Media Chair for Her Campus Wyoming. In this position she was able to write articles for the online magazine.
She's not just a military brat; Jamie comes from a long line of military heritage. From college, she graduated with her commission into the Wyoming Army National Guard as a Second Lieutenant in the Field Artillery Branch. She is the first female in her family to serve in the military.
She lives in Cheyenne with her Heinz-57 mutt, Timber, who without a doubt, is the best running buddy/rabbit chaser in the world.
Jamie is passionate about politics, social media, and sharing stories with others. In the rare free time Jamie has, she can be seen running around town, on the couch binging television, or hiking in one of the many beautiful, outdoor places Wyoming has to offer.
