Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Quinn discovered her passion for storytelling at a young age. Some of her fondest memories growing up are watching Dateline Saturday Night Mysteries with her grandmother. In high school, she became involved with a youth media organization where she started her journey into the world of journalism.
Quinn is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she studied journalism and entertainment. During her time at USC, she interned at Dateline NBC and worked with various non-profits. When she isn’t busy in the newsroom, you can find her out thrifting, doing swim aerobics at the local YMCA, or hanging out at home with her cat, Bug.
Quinn is excited to join the Wyoming News Now team and explore the Cowboy State. She recently attended her first rodeo and instantly became a huge fan. She’s thrilled to finally have somewhere to sport her cowboy hat.

In July, a group of senators including John Barasso introduced the Wildland Firefighter Paycheck Protection Act. The motion will ensure the federal government provides funding to continue to recruit and retain wildland firefighters and provide pay increases. Senator Lummis has co-sponsored this movement, saying wildlife firefighters have dangerous jobs and the current pay rate is not enough to incentivise wildland firefighters to stay on the job.

Riders from across the state traveled to Casper on Sunday for the BMX State Championship. The race was held at the Mike Sedar BMX race track. This is the biggest BMX race of the year in Wyoming, and competitors are vying for the top spots.
