Nick Paniagua

Nick comes from Bayville, New York, a small town in Long Island where he grew up with four brothers. Since he can remember, he has always been involved in sports growing up, playing a multitude of them but primarily sticking with football and basketball. He graduated from Locust Valley High School in 2017, and then graduated from Long Island University with a degree in broadcasting. During college, he discovered his passion for broadcasting, to be more specific being the commentator on whatever game going on. He was a part of WCWP Sports Radio, which was the on-campus radio station where they covered most of the college’s athletics. The two sports he loves to commentate would have to be basketball and football, seeing as they’re both what he knows best. He also thinks lacrosse and softball are also very fun to call. He wound up at KCWY in order to continue to pursue a career in sports media, and hope that one day he can become a professional play-by-play commentator for either college basketball or the NFL. During my free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing sports, reading, and traveling around.
