Operation Christmas Child drive is underway in Casper

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - This week is the national collection week for the Samaritan’s Purse project known as Operation Christmas Child. Shoeboxes get filled with toys, personal care items, and school supplies. Earlier this week on Wednesday night, churches around Casper dropped off boxes full of gifts to the Restoration Church... Which also held a packing party. Next week, shoeboxes from Douglas to Riverton will also be added to the collection, that will later be distributed to children in need. And there are drop-off locations around the state.
