CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - On the morning of October 8, some of the fastest cars in Casper competed in an autocross.

22 racers hit the track, weaving though the course.

Central Wyoming Corvettes partnered up with the Natrona County Meals On Wheels Foundation to host the autocross fundraiser event. Funds raised in the autocross event will support Natrona County Meals On Wheels. The Meals On Wheels team delivers over 500 meals daily to senior citizens in the community who may be experiencing food insecurity.

Elaine Walters, the president of Central Wyoming Corvettes, says, “Meals On Wheels is a wonderful organization and they take care of a lot of people in our community, a lot of people... more than I ever imagined.”

This is the last Central Wyoming Corvettes event of the season. They will pick back up next May.
