CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Grab your binoculars and take a peek at the skies tonight and tomorrow morning for a chance to see the full harvest moon. The full harvest moon is the fourth and final supermoon of the year. A supermoon occurs when a full moon is closer to earth than normal, making it appear larger and brighter against the night sky. There may be some high clouds tonight, but they should start to clear in the late night and early morning hours tomorrow. The harvest moon will be visible in Wyoming skies Thursday, September 28 and hit peak illumination early Friday morning.
