CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - The first Fish Bowl this year took place at Kelly Walsh this year, as the Filles took a short trip to take on their cross-town rival in a dual meet. After coming off a performance where their team finished second in Sheridan, the Trojans were still riding that momentum, and it showed early on. Kelly Walsh managed to take first in 11 of the 12 events, and that was good enough to earn them the Fish Bowl once again, as they beat Natrona 139-39. That wasn’t the only good news for the Trojans, as they also had some swimmers qualify for States that are just around the corner.

The state’s capital featured another intra-city matchup in the pool, as South hosted Central. The Lady Bison medley relay picked up first to kick things off and take the meet lead, but the Lady Indians followed that up by winning three events in a row. The teams traded blows during the middle portion of the competition, however Central closed strong with wins in each of the final four events. At the conclusion of the meet, the Lady Indians were victorious by a score of 110-65.
