Warm but Cloudy Weather
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - For our severe risk for today most of the state will be dry with all of the rain and storm chances staying off to the west. Tomorrow and Wednesday the moisture powering the chances of rain and storms moves into our area so we’ll have a rain chance move in.

Tonight things will get cool around the area with mid 50s and a few 40s. We’re warmer than our fall like lows last week but those cooler temperatures will return later over the weekend. Our lows should generally start to slowly cool down as we end September and enter October so have your jackets handy.

For our Futurecast, scattered showers and storms will be in the area tomorrow evening. Storms aren’t expected to be very strong and the rain should mostly be light around the area but in higher elevations, we could see a mix of rain and snow. It seems too early to mention snow but it will depend on how cool things are at the higher elevations. Even then, the snow, if any, is expected to be very light to only a trace.

For our extended forecasts, cool days are on the way with mid 70s this week and 60s over the weekend and new week ahead. We’ve got the scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday then at the end of the week. Plenty of sun next week.
For Casper, rain chances start Wednesday and continue for a while until Saturday where the rain chances are most likely. Plenty of sun after the rain chances move out but cooler temperatures will take over.
