Gradual Drop in Temperatures

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - What a beautiful weekend across the Cowboy state. As we head into the overnight hours, that pleasant weather will continue for the overnight hours. Low temperatures tonight will range from the 40s to the low 50s. Temperatures will fall into the 30s in the mountains. Don’t be surprised if we see some frost in these areas by Monday Morning.

We could be looking at more clouds, and sunshine for many across the Cowboy State. We could see a few light showers develop in northwest Wyoming during the afternoon hours. We will see high temperatures into the 70s to the middle 80s. Mountains will see high temperatures into the 60s. Warmest temperatures will be mainly in eastern Wyoming.

As we take a look at the temperature trends for Cheyenne, we will continue to see high temperatures into the 70s. We will see temperatures drop by the weekend, with temperatures falling into the 60s. This will likely continue to be the trend into next week as well.

Taking a look at the latest temperature trends for Casper, we will see temperatures from the middle 70s to the low 80s through much of the work week. As we head into Friday and to the weekend, temperatures top off into the 60s. This trend will likely continue into the early part of next week.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 75. Northwest wind at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
