CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - A Greek festival, entering a drag racing competition and the Goo Goo Dolls highlight an exciting weekend ahead as 2023′s summer continues its departure.

Cheyenne Greek Festival - Frontier Park Exhibit Hall and Event Center, 1230 W 8th Ave, Cheyenne

Friday, 4-9 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Get a taste of Greece this weekend! Visitors can expect to be teleported to the Mediterranean as they’re met with a wide range of sights to see and foods to eat. Greek dance performances, handcrafted jewelry and art and live music will be just a sample of what guests can expect. Perhaps the highlight of the event: the food. Nearly two dozen authentic Greek food options will be available from kalamari and gyros to souvlaki and chocolate flogera.

Heroes Fall Extravaganza: Craft & Vendor Show - Cheyenne Ice and Event Center, 1530 West Lincolnway, Cheyenne

Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Explore a diverse array of offerings from over 100 vendors offering unique handmade gifts and popular brands, all while supporting local businesses and kickstarting your holiday shopping.

Pack the Track - Douglas Motorsports Park, 1399 East Richards Street, Douglas

Saturday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Take a trip to Douglas and get a rare opportunity to see drag racing live. If you’re up for a challenge, you can even enter your own car in the competition. $10,000 worth of prize money is on the line. Check out their Facebook page for more information.

Casper Humane Society’s Super Garage Sale - 222 N. Cole Creek Road, Building D, Casper

Friday, 5-8 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2-4 p.m.
