Cool Today, Warm Weekend
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Looking at our severe risk for today, most showers and storms will be to our south and we’ll stay nice and dry through Wyoming this afternoon. Things will remain pretty cloudy for us around Cheyenne though as we make our way through this evening.

Tonight’s lows are going to be pretty chilly with lows in the 40s and even some 30s through the state. Winter like temperatures have moved their way into the area this evening. Yellowstone and Afton may even see the first freeze of the season as they are right at the freezing point.

Tomorrow’s highs will be much warmer for us though as the sun comes out and stays out all weekend long. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s through this weekend. They’ll be some great days to get outside and enjoy the weekend with calm winds and plenty of sun.

Looking at our extended forecasts starting with Cheyenne, after our nice weekend, daily rain chances move into the area starting on Monday but the best chance of rain moves in Wednesday. After Wednesday of next week we’ll cool down into the 60s again for next weekend.
In Casper, again a nice weekend for us and it continues into the new week but we could see some very isolated showers starting Tuesday and our best rain chance will be on Thursday and Friday. The cooler, fall like air moves in Thursday and keeps us cool into our next weekend ahead.
