Rainy Day Today, Chilly Tonight
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Starting with our severe risk for today, we aren’t expecting any storms to be severe this afternoon and evening. While we do have some storms and showers currently moving through, they should stay pretty weak with impacts limited to heavy rain, a wind gust here and there, and some rumbles of thunder.
As we make our way into this evening, the showers will move off to the east and out of our area. Showers and cloud cover will remain in the area for a while into this evening but they should move out later on around 8:00 PM.
Since we’ve been cloudy all day long with some cooling rain, we’ve been cool all day and our lows are going to be cool as well. Most of Wyoming will be in the 40s this evening with some 30s as well around the state. Be prepared for the very chilly weather this evening if you decide to head out.
For our extended forecasts, stormy today in Cheyenne but nice and sunny over our weekend and next week brings more rain and cool temperatures into the weekend.
In Casper, a nice warm up as well this weekend and we’ll stay dry until Thursday of next week brings more showers to the area and cooler temperatures afterward for the weekend.
