CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Calling all elementary school students in Natrona County! Banner Wyoming Medical Center needs help designing an illustration for their new ambulance.

The Banner Health ambulance herd is adding a new animal to the pack and they need help choosing a Wyoming animal to feature on it. Banner Wyoming Medical Center is holding a contest to pick a critter to feature. Students are asked to submit a drawing of their favorite Wyoming animal and write a short essay about why it should join the herd. The team at Banner asks that you pick an animal not already depicted on a Wyoming medical center ambulance, so get creative! The winning design will be featured on a new ambulance that will serve the Natrona County area.

Mike Magee, an EMT at Banner Wyoming Medical Center, says, “I think what it does is it integrates really well with our community and it gives some ownership. It’s really neat when an elementary school child participates in something like this because they’re going to see it for years.”

The contest is open to elementary school students in Natrona County. Entries are due by September 30. For more information and contest rules, click here.
